Lightroom Classic

Photography doesn’t have to stop at writing to the memory card: in this beginner’s course, you will learn how to mold a digital photo into a more beautiful result. You will also get tips on what to look out for while shooting. Do you already know the difference between preparing a photo for online use or for on the wall? Or maybe you need better tools to organize all your photos?

Then sign up! Because quality photography is more than just taking a good picture, you must also succeed in translating the vision into a finished image … an image you can be proud of!

We’ll get right to work organizing supplied practice files, so you’ll also learn the ropes of organizing your own Lightroom Catalog. In addition to editing these practice files, we will of course work on your own photography…. AND prepare for the exhibition!

What do you need to participate?

• Laptop. During the classes we will be working with the latest desktop/laptop version of Lightroom Classic. The room also has monitors to connect to if necessary. Participating with Lightroom Mobile on iPad or iPhone is possible, but has limitations and does not match the instructions given.
• Proprietary license for Lightroom Classic installed on your computer.
• Photo camera with RAW photo-recording capabilities and a tripod.

Practical to know.
This course consists of 8 lessons of 2.5 hours, given on Friday mornings from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. The location is Kumulus (Herbenusstraat 89) and the Jean-Loup Sieff classroom.

Participation in the course costs €300 (incl. VAT, excl. materials). To participate, payment of the invoice must be made in advance, any company information may be added directly to the registration. Payment of the invoice is also possible by iDeal.

This course will start with a minimum of 4 applications and will be taught to a maximum of 8 students.
