What will you learn?

You will learn the basic techniques of hand-building:
• Knowledge of various types of clay
• Pinch techniques
• Building up with coiling techniques
• Assembling with clay slabs
• Hollowing out of solid forms
• Using molds
• Joining clayforms
• Decorating pieces
• Experimenting with engobe and textures

What will you make?
• Pinchpots
• Box shapes
• Thealight holders
• Free shapes
• The pieces will be glazed together during the final class of the course

Who do you learn from?
Vera is an enthusiastic and patient potter who enjoys sharing her craftsmanship, knowledge, and passion for clay with you in a fun and lighthearted way. Also English language.

What should you bring?
– old towels
– Dishcloth
– Old clothes, overalls or apron (stains are washable)
– Lots of sociability, humour and fun (and a little patience)
– Tip: Short nails (preferably no rings and bracelets)
– Bottle of drinks

Wat will we do?

Punctually 19.00 pm we will start the class. Be there 5 minutes before so you have time to get your things ready. You’ll create your own ceramic pieces that allow you to express your creativity. Around 21.45 pm we will collectively clean up and tidy up.
